The Universal Fibre Fire Back is for use with cast iron backs that do not have a Fire Back.
The Fibre back is only suitable for use with Gas fires, and NOT solid fuel fires.
They are used instead of the traditional cast iron or brick back as they convect more heat into the room.
This fire back will increase the heat output of your gas fire by 1Kw.
