The Slabbed Polished Black Granite hearth looks fantastic on any of our surrounds, giving a great contrast to the wood. Black granite looks especially good with downlights. The Black Granite has a polished finish with highlight speckles.

The slabbed granite hearth is designed to be used with open fires, stoves and fires with outputs higher than 4Kw. The hearth comprises sections, so there are expansion lines across the faces. The rear is covered in concrete, so this hearth is heavy and requires two people to lift it. If you are using a solid fuel fire, you must specify a slabbed hearth; if you don't, your hearths and back panels will crack with the excessive heat.

All granite and Marble hearths come lipped, for an extra charge we can make them boxed.
Veneered hearths come boxed but can be lipped for a small extra charge.
Hearth Footprint
We would always suggest that you take delivery of your hearth before cutting your carpet. The sizes given are for the top of your hearth, the footprint is usually around 0.5" on both sides and front.
Bespoke Sizes
